Rypien did play better in this game (13 of 23, 101 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT). Having more reps with the squad helped him vs. the limited hours he had last week. While no one is under any illusions that playing Rypien will be a great thing for Houston, having him as an emergency QB on the roster wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
