Pollard's 2023 bust driven by fibula fracture recovery and Cowboys' line injuries until Week 5.

Pollard's 2023 campaign was flagged as an RB bust, driven partly by his return from a fibula fracture earlier in the year. Additionally, injuries to the Cowboys' offensive line were a significant factor; the team couldn't field their intended starters simultaneously until Week 5, with LT Tyron Smith ruled out, LG Zack Martin dealing with an ankle, C Tyler Biadasz with a hamstring, and TE Peyton Hendershot with an ankle. The source uses Pollard as an example of how monitoring the health of not just skill players but their protection units is critical to avoiding busts.
