He was somebody He was wide receiver 30 last year... he was a top 12 point per game score in a down year with Lamar Jackson. And now Lamar is going to win an MVP. And um Zay Flowers will be his wide receiver one. He had the same points per game as CeeDee Lamb... On a per route basis, he crushes.

STACKED’s take

Stewart projects Flowers as WR1 breakout in rounds 3-5 with Lamar's MVP bounce-back.

Ron Stewart is bullish on Zay Flowers as a breakout candidate despite widespread criticism. Flowers was WR30 last year but scored at a top-12 PPG rate (14.5 PPG) in a down year with Lamar Jackson; Stewart projects he had the same PPG as CeeDee Lamb last year (14.3 PPG as WR12) and on a per-route basis he 'crushes.' With Lamar Jackson expected to win MVP and bounce back to elite play, Flowers should be his primary WR1, making him significantly undervalued. Stewart drafted Flowers at the 3-4 turn and has staked his credibility on him for back-to-back years, arguing that if Lamar throws 30+ touchdowns, 8+ should go to Flowers. Stewart projects Flowers at 14.5 PPG heading into year four, placing him in the DeVonta Smith and Chris Olave tier rather than below Amon-Ra St. Brown (13.6 PPG) and Jaylen Waddle (13.6 PPG).
