Yahoo Fantasy Football on Luther Burden
From the article
I'm going totally off type here with a helium, buzzy guy who's been hurt all summer. Give me Luther Burden III. Ben Johnson has talked about setting scoring records. They'll have to set a scoring record if they wanna get back to the playoffs again. Talk about pinball teams, talk about carnival teams — the Bears check that box. If Burden's healthy, he's a smash as my wide receiver three.
STACKED’s take
Burden's ceiling upside in a high-octane Bears offense justifies the injury risk if he's healthy for Week 1.
Scott Pianowski chased ceiling with Burden in Round 4 despite the receiver being sidelined for much of August with a groin injury; Burden recently returned to practice and looked healthy, positioning him for Week 1 readiness in a high-octane Bears offense with a shaky defense—the perfect combination for fantasy points. Pianowski noted Ben Johnson has talked about setting scoring records and the Bears will need to do so to return to the playoffs, calling them a 'pinball' or 'carnival' team. If healthy, Pianowski said Burden is a 'smash as my wide receiver three,' betting the groin injury won't linger and the receiver builds on his impressive rookie campaign in Year 2.
