McBride just posted the third-best fantasy season for a tight end in NFL history and goes in the third round. Did his quarterback change? No. Did the team add a wide receiver of note to take away targets from him? Nope. Did the play-caller change? Yes, likely for the better.

McBride's historic TE season at third-round price is too good to ignore despite QB and scheme concerns.

McBride just posted the third-best fantasy season for a tight end in NFL history and goes in the third round. His quarterback did not change, the team did not add a wide receiver of note to take away targets, and the play-caller likely changed for the better. While there are concerns over Jacoby Brissett eventually being benched, the team running more, and one of Marvin Harrison Jr. or Michael Wilson breaking out, those are reasons to fade first-round McBride, not third-round McBride.
