Kittle is trending in the right direction to play in the 49ers' Week 1 season opener against the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia, nearly exactly 12 months after tearing his Achilles in the wild-card round win over Philadelphia. Ian Rapoport reported Kittle has had two positive days of practice and will make the 15-hour journey to Australia with the team, with signs pointing to his return to the field.
