Video: Bye forever
NFL is placing Packers running back Josh Jacobs on the commissioner exempt list... if he goes on the commissioner exempt list today and his court case isn't until mid November... likely scenario for Jacobs, he's on the commissioner exempt list until mid November... what he's suspended for six games and then the Packers are looking at hopefully getting Josh Jacobs back for the NFL playoffs. So the assumption as of now is Jacobs is a zero this season. I am moving Josh Jacobs down to being a running back four. If you can take Josh Jacobs and then throw him in your IR, at that point Jacobs maybe becomes interesting. However, if your league is not going to let you put Jacobs on the IR, then at that point it would be very, very, very tough to draft them and hold on to them.

Suspended until playoffs; RB40 ranking; only viable with IR eligibility.

Placed on commissioner exempt list following battery and criminal damage to property charges (misdemeanors); court case scheduled for mid-November. Flock Fantasy assumes best-case scenario is Jacobs remains on exempt list until mid-November, then faces potential six-game suspension, making him unavailable until NFL playoffs. Ranked as a zero for the 2024 season and moved to running back 40 in updated rankings. Becomes potentially interesting only if league allows IR placement; otherwise very difficult to draft and hold without IR eligibility. Flock Fantasy notes that despite Jacobs being on the roster, the team still has McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, and Bree Hall, providing substantial depth that mitigates the impact of Jacobs' absence or limited role.
