You have got to get more upside than Pollard, a declining, contract-expiring back playing for a new coaching staff with a new rookie in the backfield mix (Nicholas Singleton). Pollard has competition on every down and lacks the efficiency to overcome it.

Pollard's decline, competition, and lack of efficiency make him a Round 7 fade.

Pollard is a declining, contract-expiring back playing for a new coaching staff with rookie Nicholas Singleton in the backfield mix. He has competition on every down and lacks the efficiency to overcome it. Never quite the same since his broken leg, Pollard is a formerly fun player who deserved better than the Tennessee Titans and lacks the upside expected in Round 7 (picks 73-84).
