Strand retained as undrafted developmental QB with preseason production.

Jack Strand is serving as a developmental option in the Falcons' four-quarterback room. GM Ian Cunningham explained that Strand was undrafted but has been developed by the team and was productive during the preseason. The Falcons retained him because if he were let go, he would be subject to waivers and there's a chance that somebody could have claimed him. Cunningham emphasized the importance of 'draft, develop, retain' and noted that with Strand, the team is 'living in the now but also living in the future.'
