Yahoo Fantasy Football on Garrett Wilson
From the article
For reference, Wilson's 2026 ADP sits at WR20. He's finished ahead of that just once. The rest of the time, he's been in the high-end WR3 discussion... The problem is that gaudy target shares keep not showing up on the scoreboard, and there's no clear reason 2026 breaks that pattern.
STACKED’s take
Wilson's 25%+ target share hasn't translated to WR1 production; ADP overvalues him.
Wilson deserves the title of bell-cow receiver: since entering the league in 2022, when on the field for more than 10 games, his target shares have been no less than 25.0%, averaging 8.7, 9.9, and 9.1 looks per game (2025: 9.3 before hyperextended knee sidelined him). However, that high-end workload hasn't translated to production: 2022: 12.7 PPR PPG (28th, min. 10 games), 2023: 12.5 (32nd), 2024: 14.8 (18th), 2025: 14.2 (13th). His 2026 ADP sits at WR20, but he's finished ahead of that just once—the rest of the time in the high-end WR3 discussion. While QB play has been an excuse, Geno Smith has never led a wide receiver to a 15+ PPG season across six years as a starter. The Jets also added two first-round rookies (Omar Cooper Jr., Kenyon Sadiq) to a receiving corps that didn't need more mouths to feed. Wilson's talent is not the question; the problem is gaudy target shares keep not showing up on the scoreboard, with no clear reason 2026 breaks that pattern.
