The Green Bay Packers will work out Jack Plummer, the UFL's 2026 MVP and passing leader, next week as part of their quarterback depth chart search. Plummer is a 2024 draft prospect who scored an 8.36 RAS (163rd out of 985 QBs from 1987–2024), played college football at Purdue, California, and Louisville, signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2024, spent his rookie year on the Panthers' practice squad before being waived in August, and then resurfaced in the UFL where he threw 17 touchdown passes and one interception with the Orlando Storm. Since the UFL season, Plummer has also worked out with the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and New York Jets. The Packers' quarterback search stems from carrying only three QBs this preseason after Kyron Drones was released in Week 1 and Kyle McCord was traded to the Miami Dolphins.
