Video: A $2000 Draft (Josh Jacobs Update)
I'm going to go Tucker Craft... I don't have Tucker Craft in one of these yet, so I decided why not... if Craft starts slow because of the ACL, he can come off the bench... I do wish that we went Jefferson Lamb, but there was no way to know that not a single tight end goes round five. So we take Tucker Craft, we take Mike Evans, we make it so we have receivers with the flex. Uh Tucker Craft is a in a tight end premium, he's going to be somebody that we're going to be tempted to flex over Mike Evans, especially when Tucker Craft is fully healthy from the ACL tear. We started uh Jefferson, Trey McBride, uh Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Tucker Craft, Mike Evans. So that's receiver through the flex. We have Tucker Craft to flex or put in the tight end spot.

Craft selected in zero-RB build; ACL risk mitigated by bench flexibility.

Ron Stewart selected Tucker Craft as his tight end in a zero-RB build, acknowledging the ACL injury risk but noting Craft can come off the bench if he starts slow; Stewart expressed some regret in hindsight about the tight end premium at that draft position, wishing he had taken Jefferson and Lamb instead, but accepted the pick given the tier dynamics. Craft was selected in a tight end premium league and is expected to be flexed over Mike Evans when fully healthy from his ACL tear; the source also likes the Josh Jacobs connection as additional rationale for the pick, suggesting upside in pass-catching opportunity. Tucker Craft was drafted early in the zero RB strategy team and can be flexed or placed in the tight end spot, providing positional flexibility.
