Video: Week 1 WR Fantasy Football Rankings and Tiers: Tetairoa McMillan BOOM week?
Wide receiver tenant Devonte Smith in the Jigba going up against the Washington Commander secondary that looks pretty rough on paper, guys... we got Rousul Douglas who wasn't bad last year or anything, but just bigger picture. He turned 31 two weeks ago. He's on his fourth team since 2023... we also got Meek Robertson. He allowed the second most receiving yards in his coverage last season. And then Mike Sarin still... allowed an NFL high nine touchdowns and coverage last season. So look, Devonte Smith will be a wide receiver one against pretty much any secondary out there. But I really do think we could see some season debut fireworks here against this group in particular.

WR10 vs. Commanders; season debut fireworks vs. weak secondary.

Ranked WR10 against Washington Commanders secondary in Week 1. Ian Hartitz expects season debut fireworks against a vulnerable secondary featuring Roussel Douglas (age 31, fourth team since 2023), Meek Robertson (allowed second-most receiving yards in coverage last season), and Mike Sainristovich (allowed NFL-high nine touchdowns in coverage last season). Smith will be WR1 against most secondaries but particularly favored here. Must-start regardless of matchup.
