Video: Week 1 WR Fantasy Football Rankings and Tiers: Tetairoa McMillan BOOM week?
Wide receiver 18. I got Rasheed Rice. He'll be ranked higher in the future... Rasheed Rice when he's been on the football field has been a wide receiver one. This matchup though against the Broncos in a spot where we have a healthy Xavier Worthy. Maybe we do see him start taking away some of the underneath screen stuff. And this Denver defense really has limited Rice pretty well in three career matchups... expecting more of a run-heavy Chiefs offense, particularly in the early going of the season. Richie Rice should still be in all your fancy lineups.

WR18 with WR1 upside when healthy; tough Broncos matchup limits Week 1 ceiling.

Ranked WR18 in tier 3 for Week 1, though Hartitz notes he'll be ranked higher in future weeks. When healthy, Rice has been a WR1. However, Week 1 matchup against Broncos is concerning: Denver has limited Rice well in three career matchups (4 catches/72 yards, 4 catches/56 yards, 6 catches/36 yards). With healthy Xavier Worthy, Rice may lose some underneath screen opportunities. Hartitz expects a run-heavy Chiefs offense early in the season, but Rice should still be in all fantasy lineups.
