With Jordyn Tyson down with injury, all the talk has been about Chris Olave's top-five volume potential, but what about Juwan Johnson? The Saints TE was the de facto WR2 late last season and is set up to be the same in early 2026. STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

Johnson's WR2 role and high game total support PPR volume in Week 1 against Detroit.

With Jordyn Tyson down with injury, Juwan Johnson is set up to be the de facto WR2 for the Saints in early 2026. With Tyler Shough in the lineup, Johnson scored as the TE5 in PPR leagues over the second half of the year. His red zone work is lacking, making him more of a PPR play, but the volume should be there for him versus Detroit. With the game total at 50 projected points scored, Smyth expects Shough to be slinging it plenty, supporting Johnson's volume.
