Yahoo Fantasy Football on Bucky Irving
From the article
At RB19 against a defense that gave up 2,500 rushing yards a year ago, I'm interested.
STACKED’s take
Irving's efficiency upside at RB19 against Bengals' historically weak run defense (2,500 yards allowed) is worth chasing
Irving is RB19 on both Yahoo and ECR with an 8% boom rate and 40% hit rate against Cincinnati. The Bengals allowed an NFL-high 2,500 rushing yards last season at 5.2 yards per carry with 18 rushing touchdowns, plus the seventh-highest explosive-run rate and fourth-most yards before contact per attempt to running backs. While Dexter Lawrence II, Jonathan Allen, and Boye Mafe are legitimate defensive additions, the source is not ready to assume three new pieces erase last year's problems. Tampa Bay's offensive line (Tristan Wirfs, Ben Bredeson, Graham Barton, Cody Mauch, Luke Goedeke) is healthy after injuries, and Zac Robinson's wide-zone concepts give Irving more chances to attack space. Kenneth Gainwell creates workload risk, but Irving's efficiency upside against a historically weak run defense is the play.
