Yahoo Fantasy Football on RJ Harvey
From the article
Prior to Dobbins' departure, Harvey had averaged just 8.7 fantasy points per game and seen more than seven carries just once. Dobbins is back and healthy for the start of the 2026 season, after signing a two-year, $16 million contract with the Broncos in March. The unofficial depth chart lists Dobbins as the starter over Harvey, and we haven't even mentioned the added presence of exciting rookie Jonah Coleman.
STACKED’s take
Harvey loses lead role to healthy Dobbins; avoid in Week 1.
Harvey was a top-20 RB from Week 11 on last season with double-digit touches in every outing and six total touchdowns, but that production coincided with J.K. Dobbins' season-ending injury. Prior to Dobbins' departure, Harvey averaged just 8.7 PPG with more than seven carries just once; his output was inflated by four receiving touchdowns across a six-week stretch. Dobbins is back and healthy after signing a two-year, $16 million contract with Denver in March and is listed as the starter over Harvey on the unofficial depth chart. Rookie Jonah Coleman adds further competition. Facing the Chiefs defense in Kansas City with a bottom-eight implied total (20.5), Harvey averaged just 11.3 PPG in two games against Kansas City as the lead back last year. Now the No. 2 (at best) in a three-headed backfield, expect less production on Monday night.
