Matthew Stafford followed with an interception of his own. Sean McVay decided the best course of action would be a quarterback sneak with the 38-year-old Stafford. Unfortunately for the Rams quarterback, Warner was there waiting to stuff the attempt and force the turnover on downs.

Stafford threw an interception early in the game (to Quentin Lake) that could have been a turning point when the Rams were up 7-3. He also attempted a quarterback sneak at the half-yard line while trailing by 10, which was stuffed by Fred Warner (with help from Gracen Halton and Osa Odighizuwa) for a turnover on downs. Later, he threw to Tyler Higbee, whose pass was knocked free by Warner and recovered by Keion White, ending the Rams' comeback hopes in the 27-7 loss.
