With Rachaad White signing in Washington in the offseason, Croskey-Merritt will likely not be on the field during obvious passing situations, so there isn't a strong three-down role until proven otherwise. Philadelphia finished last season as a respectable run defense with a healthy Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis, posing a challenge for the Commanders' meager offensive line.
