Etienne's 37% route share and split carries raise concerns about bellcow role.

37% of routes run in Week 1, which is concerning for a supposed bellcow RB. The rushing split is problematic (nine attempts for Etienne, nine for Kendre Miller), and worse in the red zone. The passing-game work may be fool's gold: Etienne had eight targets, but the Saints dropped back to pass 62 times in Week 1. If QB Tyler Shough only dropped back 40 times (still high but likely given their offense), Etienne would have only ~15 routes run. Eight targets is nice, but Noah Fant also had eight targets, Juwan Johnson seven, and Devaugh Vele nine, indicating target volume is spread across the offense.
