Lloyd's 65% touch share masks second-half surge; zero receptions limit upside.

65% of the Packers' RB touches went to Lloyd in Week 1, but the picture is more nuanced. In the first half, carries were split 4-4 with Chris Brooks. Once halftime hit, Lloyd secured more work, getting nine of the final 12 carries. Brooks' great pass-protecting ability was a key part of his increased playing time versus a Minnesota defense that causes more pressure than any other defense in the NFL. Lloyd had zero receptions, shaky offensive line play, and a more pass-heavy offense in Week 1, making him a flex at best for the moment. The Jets defense will be a better opponent for Lloyd's sake after playing a Brian Flores defense in Week 1.
