Sports Illustrated's Andrew Moore projects Alec Pierce to receive close to double the targets he got last year (84), suggesting 160+ targets. Tony Ayo is heavily selling this as unrealistic; only four players (Jamar Chase, Amon Ross St. Brown, Trey McBride, Puka Nacua) exceeded 160 targets last year. Concerns include Pierce's health status, potential PUP designation, and unproven ability to be a true WR1. Tyler Warren and Josh Downs will also compete for targets. Per Tony Ayo: "Hell no... how are you going to get targets if you're not fully healthy? And if he doesn't start the season, like out there, if he starts it on the pup and stuff."
