Mahomes shows full mobility in Week 1 return from torn ACL with rushing TD.

Mahomes returned to action in Week 1 following a torn ACL suffered in December 2025, with recovery proceeding smoothly enough that he was cleared for the season opener without question by mid-summer. On the Chiefs' opening drive, he demonstrated full mobility by scrambling twice and scoring a 15-yard rushing touchdown, allaying concerns about his ability to run effectively post-injury.
