Despite offseason expectations of taking Chuba Hubbard's job, Brooks underperformed in Week 1 with miserable 3.5 yards per carry on 4 attempts. Had fewer attempts than AJ Dillon (5 carries for 28 yards). Hubbard remains clear lead back with only red zone touch. Brooks might eventually take high-value touches away from Hubbard, but not yet.
