Barkley's elite tackle-breaking and improved receiving role support strong Week 2 vs. Titans.

Barkley is projected for 91.5 total yards in Week 2 at Tennessee. He looked awesome individually in Week 1, showing great long speed and tackle-breaking ability (seven per PFF), but was only awarded 0.2 yards before contact due to unblocked blitzers and LG Landon Dickerson (IR, knee) playing injured. The other four linemen looked great, and OC Sean Mannion's run-game approach was solid. Barkley only had one reception but was involved in multiple pass plays (swing pass, reception called back on a hold, drop in the flats, slot WR bubble screen), suggesting increased receiving involvement going forward. The Titans defense remains a work in progress; both Breece Hall and Braelon Allen ran well against them (152 rush yards was seventh-most in Week 1). The Eagles are a different story than the Jets and project for 23.25 points (15th) as touchdown favorites on the road.
