Skattebo was the centerpiece of the Giants' pounding, under-center-balanced offense in Week 1, with Najee Harris a healthy scratch and Tyrone Tracy Jr. barely playing. However, Skattebo had zero targets—his first game without a reception since 2023 (including college). He averaged 3.0 receptions per game as a rookie en route to a top-12 per-game finish and was excellent at it. Without 2-3 receptions per game, it will be hard to hit his ceiling. He should threaten for 10+ rushing TDs to stay in the RB2 mix, but is more TD-or-bust than in 2025 if his role doesn't change.
