Chase had a rare dud in Week 1 with Joe Burrow healthy, and there are signs he may still be working back from his hyperextended knee suffered in camp—he stumbled at the top of an in-cut on one target and had a goal-line fade go incomplete. The Texans are a horrible draw for Week 2; Houston was fifth-best against fantasy WRs in 2025, allowing just 200 total passing yards to all positions, and have two great CBs to match up with both Bengals WRs. The Bengals only project for 21.75 points (20th) in Houston. Chase did hang 5-124-1 on six targets against Houston in Week 10 of 2023, but the current matchup is unfavorable.
