STACKED’s take
Wilson's 30.4% target share and Packers' weak secondary support top-5 WR finish.
Wilson is the clear-cut target hog in the Jets offense with a 30.4% target share (ranked eighth among all WRs) and 49% air yard share (ranked ninth). The Jets went from 29th to seventh in rate of plays out of heavy personnel packages between the 2025 season and Week 1. With rookie first-round receiver Omar Cooper Jr. set to miss time and vacate the slot role, New York will work out of two tight end looks more often with Mason Taylor and Kenyon Sadiq, funneling more high-leverage looks to Wilson. He faces a Packers defense with serious cornerback issues and inconsistent pass rush. The Jets' offensive line was excellent in Week 1. The source projects Wilson to finish as a top-5 WR in Week 2.
