AJ Barner was a key part of making it work. On this snap, Barner motions across the formation, forcing the defense to adjust its front and revealing how the second level is fitting the run. He works with Abe Lucas to secure the edge before climbing to the second level, effectively removing the force defender and helping create the lane Price needs to put his foot in the ground and get north.

Barner's motion and blocking integral to Seattle's run-game and play-action success.

Key blocking contributor in Seattle's run game and play-action scheme. Barner motions across the formation to force defensive adjustments and reveal second-level fits, then climbs to the second level to remove force defenders and create lanes for Jadarian Price. Later in the game, Fleury used the same motion to send Barner into the flat on a similar look, where he slipped into space to pick up a first down late in the game. Also provided excellent downfield blocking on JSN's fourth-down touchdown catch.
