Gibbs is my 1.01 in half PPR after finishing 4th overall last year in fantasy points over replacement per game, despite splitting time with David Montgomery (now on the Texans). Gibbs has averaged 25.1 half PPR points in 8 games that Montgomery has missed or played in under 25% snaps, and he should set career highs in volume. Isiah Pacheco only signed for $1.8M this offseason on a 1-year deal, a sign that his role will be a lot smaller than Montgomery's. At the same time, there are other changes to the Lions offense. They have a new OC in Drew Petzig, who was doing some cool things with the Cardinals specifically in the run game. They also re-tooled their OL with mauling veteran C Cade Mays and experienced 1st-round RT Blake Miller. The Lions OL was average to even below average last year, but they should get back to moving bodies in 2026.
