Dobbins likely would've been a top-10 RB throughout his NFL career had he not dealt with these injuries. Unfortunately, a broken foot in 2025 is yet another major injury to factor into his upcoming age-27 season. Dobbins was the RB25 on RB29 usage through 10 weeks as the Broncos' clear top option. In those weeks, 2nd-round rookie RJ Harvey was the RB36 on RB54 usage, while coach Sean Payton also mixed in a third RB for meaningful snaps. This 3-RB committee approach has been the standard from Payton for years and is very likely to continue with Dobbins, Harvey, and 4th-round rookie Jonah Coleman under contract. Dobbins did receive $10M guaranteed this offseason, so he's the penciled in starter early on. Will he do that much with it in fantasy is the harder thing to sus out. He only caught 1.1 passes per game, and the Broncos OL was arguably the best in the NFL. The latter can change with worse injury luck. Dobbins can also not look the same off injury or Harvey/Coleman can break out, taking away the rushing work Dobbins used to be a flex play in 2025. Dobbins' RB35 ADP is fine compared to his baseline projection, but there isn't much of a ceiling to chase, while there are multiple ways this crumbles.
