Colts WR Alec Pierce reinjured his surgically repaired left ankle on a non-contact play during SNF vs Kansas City Chiefs and was ruled out for return; he limped to sideline unable to bear weight and was carted off. This is the same ankle that caused him to miss all offseason training activities, veteran minicamp, training camp, and preseason. Pierce signed a 4-year, $114 million contract with $84 million guaranteed before the 2025 season following a breakout 2024 campaign, but the Colts could be without one of their most explosive big play threats offensively for quite a while again.
