Love's pocket awareness still affected by prior week's struggles; missed clean-pocket opportunity.

Quarterback showed lingering effects from the previous week's poor performance. On a play where Burton and Rhyan cleanly handled a mike/will stunt and created a clean pocket, Love bailed out unnecessarily by stepping up to his right instead of stepping up within the pocket, killing the play with an ineffective throw. The source notes that one step up and to the right would have resulted in Matthew Golden walking in with a touchdown on a crosser.
