Video: This Is What Really Happened In Week 2
Jonathan Brooks sadly aggravated his groin in the fourth quarter. Not a particularly great injury. I mean, Dave Canales did say that he was day-to-day. He was in a 65-35 snap split. He only ran 11 routes in this game. Did get five carries. If Jonathan Brooks gets dropped in your league on the Tuesday waiver run and then we get him practicing on Wednesday or Thursday, I do think that you should probably pick him up just cuz the Panthers are way better on offense than we thought.

Groin injury aggravated; day-to-day but concerning; buy if dropped.

Aggravated groin injury in fourth quarter; ruled day-to-day by Dave Canales but concerning signs include limited snap involvement (65 snaps, 11 routes, 5 carries) with no garbage-time work; groin injuries are particularly problematic for running backs and this early-season injury contradicts the primary need for Brooks to stay healthy. However, if Brooks gets dropped on Tuesday waivers and practices Wednesday or Thursday, should be picked up for contingent value given Panthers' significantly improved offensive scheme.
