From the episode

we're going to see A.J. Brown in spots that I would say historically we haven't always seen him. He's seen as an ex-receiver, always on the outside. When you play in a Josh McDaniels offense, they're going to move him around a little bit.

Devin McCourty notes that A.J. Brown will be used in more versatile roles within the Patriots' offense, including slot alignments, rather than being restricted to an outside 'X' receiver role. The team plans to move him around to create favorable matchups.
