Mattek Fantasy Football on Malik Davis

Cowboys RB carted off at practice; extended absence likely.

Malik Davis was carted off at Dallas Cowboys practice, indicating a potential injury that could sideline him for an extended period and create depth chart opportunity at backup running back for the Cowboys. The source briefly questioned the likelihood of the Cowboys signing Jaden Blue off the Eagles practice squad if Davis is hurt, noting that NFL practice squad rules are restrictive and require elevated roster status for three games, making such a move unlikely.
