Spears gained 41 yards on seven carries in Week 2 and has been more involved than starter Tony Pollard in the passing game through two weeks (two catches for 29 yards in Week 2). While a case can be made that Spears will eventually prove better than the 29-year-old Pollard, Pollard has done enough to keep his lead-back role. Spears has low-end flex appeal in PPR formats but needs more carries for traditional formats.
