Herbert has been mediocre since 2022; since that year, among all quarterbacks to play 250+ snaps, he has a 0.03 EPA per play—the same mark as C.J. Stroud and Michael Penix. While fourth in yards and eighth in touchdown passes, he has missed the playoffs as many times as he's made them and is statistically one of the worst playoff quarterbacks of the last 25 years.
