Jalen Hurts is playing some of the best football of his career through two games. He has been the Eagles' best player and has had to bail out an uneven offense that struggles on early downs and with run efficiency. If Hurts continues on his current trajectory, he will easily earn a new contract extension after this season, if not sooner. Brandon Gowton is not betting against Hurts right now since he looks pretty good.
