Jalen Hurts is playing some of the best football of his career through the first two weeks of the season. He has been the Eagles' best player and has had to bail out an offense that has been running the ball inefficiently, but his strong play makes it easier to feel optimistic about the Eagles' outlook. If Hurts continues on his current trajectory, he will easily earn a new contract extension after this season.
