Milroe remains a developmental project; not yet trustworthy as emergency backup.

Milroe is on the Seahawks roster as a potential backup option, but outside of the week three preseason game against Kansas City, he has looked very much like a developmental project rather than a true NFL quarterback. The source questions whether the Seahawks would really trust him to take legitimate quarterback snaps in an NFL game if Darnold were to get hurt, suggesting he is not yet ready to be a reliable backup for a Super Bowl contender.
