Milroe remains developmental project; unlikely ready for emergency NFL snaps in 2025.

Milroe is on the Seahawks roster as a potential backup quarterback option, but outside of the week three preseason game against Kansas City, he has looked very much like a developmental project rather than a true NFL quarterback. The source questions whether the team would trust him to take legitimate quarterback snaps in an NFL game if Darnold were injured, suggesting he may not be ready until 2027 to serve as a true backup one snap away from playing.
