Patrick Herbert elevated to active roster; could play with brother Justin vs. Bills.

Patrick Herbert has been elevated from the Chargers' practice squad to the active roster ahead of Week 18 against the Bills, making him available to play alongside his brother Justin Herbert for the first time since their Oregon days in 2019. The 25-year-old tight end signed with Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent last year and spent the 2024 season on their practice squad before joining the Chargers' practice squad just before this season.
