Field Gulls on AJ Barner

Barner targeted in red zone but failed to convert; later double-covered on pick-six play.

Barner was targeted in the red zone on a critical drive but failed to convert; the source notes an incompletion to Barner in the end zone on a 12-play, 78-yard drive that stalled at the one-yard line. Later, the source criticizes Darnold for forcing a dump-off to a double-covered Barner that resulted in an interception returned for a touchdown, describing it as a costly mistake.
