From the episode

Rashad Bateman had a monster week this past week. He's not really on my list for guys I want to spend a ton of money on or willing to spend more than 2% FAB on.

Bateman is only a deep-league add while Flowers is out

Pete Nova is not excited about Bateman, expecting him to be the third option once Zay Flowers returns. He is only worth adding for free (0-2% FAAB) if Flowers remains out.
