Video: Ruled Out
Drake May obviously has been atrocious through the first two weeks this season if we are talking fantasy football purposes right now... If AJ Brown does come back, I think it will fix a lot of this stuff with the New England Patriots offense just not being that dynamic... your team is naturally going to get better as time goes on for Drake May getting the addition of AG Brown into this offense... The gap between the points per game that you're getting between Allen as well as May, it's insane... I would go back and look at what we had last season where Drake May was the quarterback two in fantasy points per game. And I would say that's a large enough sample where I'm not going to overlook it. And I would still play Drake May over Bryce Young and Tyler Shock.

Atrocious start but long-term upside if AJ Brown returns; undervalued vs. elite QBs.

Drake May has been atrocious through the first two weeks from a fantasy perspective; however, Dantavian Wixs suggests banking on long-term upside if AJ Brown returns, as the New England Patriots offense lacks dynamism without him. May's team is expected to naturally improve as the season progresses with the addition of A.G. Brown to the offense. Wixs would trade Drake May away in a heartbeat for Josh Allen and Bucky Irving, noting the gap in points per game between Allen and May is insane. Despite this, Wixs prefers Drake May over Bryce Young and Tyler Shock at quarterback, citing May's strong fantasy performance last season (second in fantasy points per game) as sufficient sample size to justify starting him over those alternatives, betting on regression to the mean despite recent struggles.
