Video: He May Have Surgery
Rams wide receiver Puganua who is doubtful for Sunday night's game at Denver, but could return as soon as next week against the Eagles has been dealing with mainly a groin injury that has impacted his explosiveness per league sources. Functionally, Puka can play, but he has not felt he can play with the same explosiveness he has in had in the past. The Rams still view it as a short-term injury and think he'll be back sooner rather than later.

Groin injury limits explosiveness; doubtful Sunday, possible return next week.

Rams WR doubtful for Sunday night vs. Denver but could return as soon as next week vs. Eagles; dealing with groin injury that has impacted explosiveness. Functionally can play but lacks prior explosiveness. Rams view as short-term injury expecting sooner-rather-than-later return. Surgery not believed necessary but not entirely off the table if no improvement shown. If Nakua unexpectedly does play, he would be an easy pivot option over Terren Ferguson in flex.
