From the episode

Baker Mayfield likes to hold onto the football, run around like a madman, throw down the field into tight coverage to a group that has Emeka Ibuka, Chris Godwin, and I guess Ted Hertz, Hurst on top of it. So again, I think the role that we went from last year with the Steelers where he was his most impactful ever is just very different this year.

STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

Gainwell's target volume will likely drop in a more talented Bucs offense.

Kenny Gainwell is unlikely to replicate his previous success in a new environment. Unlike his role with the Steelers, the Buccaneers' offense under Baker Mayfield features superior wide receiver talent like Emeka Ibuka and Chris Godwin, making it improbable that Gainwell will maintain his high target volume.
