I think, uh, stripling is going to straight up play over Depot Samuel, uh, into wide receiver sets, uh, almost immediately in this offense. So, uh, I would rather just avoid the wide receiver three on the 49ers this year.

Samuel is likely to lose snaps to rookie Deshaun Stripling.

Deebo Samuel is expected to be phased out of the 49ers' offense as rookie Deshaun Stripling earns more playing time. Samuel's low guaranteed money suggests he is a fragile asset who may lose his spot in two-wide receiver sets early in the season.
