Brown isn't as explosive as others in the fantasy RB1 mix, so getting positive matchups is required more here. The good news is Brown's role really hasn't changed...There's nobody pushing him for real work in the backfield...He's one of the most obvious buy-low candidates right now. He'd still be a Round 2 selection if drafts were held today.

Brown is a buy-low candidate with unchanged role despite brutal schedule.

Brown faced difficult opening schedule (pass-funnel Bucs, stout Texans, DL-loaded Steelers) but his role hasn't changed; he's RB11 in expected half PPR points on RB10 receptions per game (3.3) and RB13 carries per game (16.3). Nobody is pushing him for real work and Bengals offense has managed despite opponents. Brown is one of most obvious buy-low candidates; he'd still be Round 2 selection if drafts were held today. This week's matchup vs. Jaguars is difficult (third-best defense vs. RBs last year, allowing 58 rush yards per game), but Bengals project 27.0 points (4th), highest game total of week at 51.5.
